Water treatment

Solenoid dosing pumps

  • gas chlorination devices
  • dosing systems
  • automatic systems for chlorination and measurement devices
  • scada systems remote control and data transfer
  • production of sodium hypochlorite from salt
  • compact units for waste water treatment

These pumps are made for dosing of relatively small amounts of chemicals: from 0.5 l / h up to 140 l / h and for counterpressure up to 20 bar. All pumps are equipped with foot valve, injection valve, suction and dischage hoses and connector for level probe installed in the chemical dosing tank. Depending on the type, the pumps can also be equipped with connectors for pulse water meters, flow sensors, residual chlorine analyzers, pH meters, Rx meters and others.

Solenoid dosing pumps

Types of solenoid pumps by mode of operation

  • Solenoid dosing pump with manual flow rate adjustment, which is performed by specifying the number of pulses using a potentiometer or the function keys in the range of 0-100% of rated pump capacity.
  • Solenoid dosing pump with proportional flow rate adjustment, based on the number of pulses from pulse flow meter (pulse water meter). Depending on the selected model, following options are possible: pulse multiplier (1xn), pulse divider (1/n) and pulse multiplier with memory (1xn-M)
  • Solenoid dosing pump with proportional flow rate adjustment, based on the analog signal 4 – 20 mA from the flow meter, residual chlorine analyzer, pH meter, Rx meter or other measuring devices.
  • Solenoid dosing pump with multi-functional flow rate adjustment. It combines all ways of dosing adjustments mentioned above, including the “ppm” mode. Built-in microprocessor enables additional functions: flow alarm, level control (without probe), relay output, remote control, buzzer, clock, weekly and daily timer
  • Solenoid dosing pump with integrated pH, Cl and Rx controller. Flow rate adjustment is based on the direct signal from corresponding pH, Rx or Cl electrode (0÷14pH; -1000÷+1400mV; 0÷2, 20, 200ppm).

With ETATRON dosing pumps and some additional equipment, it is possible, depending on the type of pump, to achieve a certain form of semi-atomatic or automatic adjustment of dosing, based on only one input parameter: signal from the flow meter, residual chlorine analyzer, pH meter, Rx meter or other measuring devices.

If the complete control is needed (automation of the dosing process according to flow rate and residual), a complex dosing controller must be used, with integrated PLC for processing of all signals.
